HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

Steve created and runs a small non-profit organization called Cookies for a Cause, which bakes cookies for nonprofit organizations as well as for the volunteers who are serving their purpose. The organization’s goal is to “grease the wheels of philanthropy” by making the volunteer process just a bit easier.

For the last four years, Steve has been the public address announcer for varsity boys basketball and Volleyball games at Pacific Ridge School. With his extensive sports experience and dry sense of humor, Steve adds a unique form of entertainment and humor to the games.

Steve is also a former “professional” bluegrass musician with Next Generation Bluegrass, where he played upright bass with three very talented teens, including his eldest son. Next Generation performed extensively at bluegrass festivals in Southern California and Arizona.
