HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

Brad enjoys riding bikes with friends in Marin County and the group does an annual four-day “Coast Ride” from Mill Valley down through Big Sur and on to Solvang or Santa Barbara. He has participated in numerous group rides such as the Levi’s Gran Fondo, The Marin Century and Death Ride. These rides are generally about 100 miles or more. Brad is also a parent volunteer for the mountain biking team at Tamalpais High School, helping the kids train and race in NICA competitions.

Growing up in Southern California, Brad is a lifelong surfer and has surfed in Australia, Hawaii, Tahiti and France. He now surfs regularly with his kids at Stinson, Bolinas and Ocean Beach, and tries to go on several surf trips a year with friends to some remote spot in Mexico (mainly southern Baja California).

Brad also likes to fly fish in the Sierra and on the Sacramento River, and has traveled to Montana and Wyoming to fish.
