EXPERIENCE

Jim has over thirty years of experience in public accounting, and is the managing partner of OUM. He has supervised engagements with clients in a wide range of areas, including taxation, financial planning, accounting and consulting services. These engagements have been with companies in the fields of wholesaling, retailing, professional services, farming, real estate and financial services. Jim has extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, and representation before the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities. His tax planning experience includes income tax planning, estate planning, and charitable giving consultation. Prior to his co-founding our firm, Jim was a tax manager at Price Waterhouse. He has been an instructor of various taxation courses for the Price Waterhouse Continuing Education Program and the California CPA Education Foundation.
