Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance

OUM provides the following:

Paid Time Off

Starting on their first day at OUM, employees accrue a minimum of 19 days per year of paid time off for purposes of vacation, illness and personal time. Employees hired at a manager level or above accrue 29 days per year. These accrual rates increase as service with the firm increases. Additional time off is offered for bereavement, jury duty, and, in certain situations, other purposes.

Paid Holidays

In addition to paid time off, OUM provides employees with a minimum of 8 paid holidays each year.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)

FSAs allow eligible employees to pay for certain health and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

401(k) Benefits

Eligible employees can defer a portion of their income to a 401(k) plan. The firm may also make contributions to a profit sharing plan on behalf of eligible employees.

Salary Continuation Program and Group Long-Term Disability

A full-time employee with more than one service period of employment is eligible for salary continuation during a long-term sickness. Covered employees are paid for up to 30 working days for absence resulting from a long-term sickness. The firm also provides a group long-term disability income plan for all employees working more than 30 hours a week. If the employee remains disabled, on the 91st day the insurance will pay 60 percent of the pre-disability monthly earnings, not to exceed a monthly amount of $10,000.

Group Life Insurance

Employees working 30 hours per week or more are eligible for life insurance. Life insurance coverage begins the first day of the quarter following the date of hire.

Continuing Education

OUM provides excellent continuing professional education courses for all professional staff. The firm also reimburses pre-approved tuition expense for course work in a Master of Taxation or Master of Business Administration program at an approved institution.

CPA Exam Prep Materials Reimbursement

In addition to offering a number of CPE courses, OUM reimburses 100% of the cost of CPA exam prep materials.

CPA Licensing Renewal

The firm reimburses employees for CPA license renewals.

Professional Society Dues

The firm reimburses employees for membership dues paid to one professional organization such as the AICPA or the California Society of Certified Public Accountants

Business Development Rewards Program

Our staff are eligible to receive bonuses for new business they bring to the firm.

Employee Referral Program

The Employee Referral Program is designed to encourage employees to refer candidates to the firm and to reward them for assisting with our staffing efforts. Employees receive cash awards for each referral hired by the firm.
